LEDA Virtual Job Fair


Employers interested in posting their job openings on the LEDA Virtual job fair (at no cost) can send job description, qualifications, and application method to LEDA's Director of Workforce Development by email.

In addition to posting your vacancies on LEDA's website, positions are also distributed to a network of workforce centers and educational institutions as appropriate.

Position: Fitness Member Relations Team

POSITION PURPOSE: The Member Relations Team ensures that procedures followed support Membership sales and retention. Each team Member cross promotes all departmental events and amenities to enhance Member participation in club events and offerings.

1. Ensures Member Relations procedures support Membership sales and retention
2. Keeps open communication with Membership Department at all times
3. Assists all current Members and prospect Members, clients, Guests and employees with requests
4. Cross promotes all areas of the club to enhance Member participation in club events and offerings
5. Appropriately greets Members, scans Membership cards, and take photos of Members
6. Answers telephone with proper etiquette and transfers effectively
7. Reviews all e-mails in "Infohub" email account daily
8. Handles daily opening and closing responsibility:
• Reconciles cash drawer at beginning and ending of each shift
• Prepares deposit slips nightly and places in safe
9. Adheres to Point of Sales procedures located in SOP manual
10. Demonstrates competency in understanding all CCRR policies and procedures
11. Attends monthly mandatory Member Relations meetings
12. Cross-train and/or perform additional duties as directed by management
13. Responds appropriately to all emergency situations and incidents/accidents as per Standard Operating Procedures

WORK EXPERIENCE – Minimum six (6) months experience working in some form of customer services field.

EDUCATION – High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Strong customer service orientation and skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must have the ability to establish and maintain courteous and effective working relationships with coworkers, Members and Guests
• Ability to work independently as well effectively in a team environment
• Able to use a computer/copier/fax without constant supervision. Computer skills required: Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Must be able to multi-task
• Professional appearance
• Strong time management and organization skills
• Ability to handle difficult situations in a calm and professional manner
