Description:

  • The Digital Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for managing all activities necessary to ensure Stuller.com and its supporting systems are working well in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability, security, and compatibility with all other systems.
  • A QA Analyst is also responsible for mentoring and training other QA and support staff.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review all new features and designs to ensure functionality, performance, and usability
  • Review all new code checked into production against a checklist to ensure functionality and security
  • Test all new website features across browsers and platforms
  • Effectively manage testing projects and communicate with all needed stakeholders
  • Database testing in Microsoft SQL environment including validating stored procs, jobs, and triggers
  • Develop, author, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts - including test data, data validation, and automated scripts
  • Create and maintain a test playbook library that enables scalability of manual testing
  • Execute and evaluate manual and automated test cases and report test results
  • Assist in maintaining established automated tests and their code
  • Research, analyze, and document issues encountered by customers and verify fixes
  • Entering, tracking, and communicating all issues that require follow up
  • Train other associates on testing best practices and test artifact life cycles
  • Review dashboards and analytics to find potential issues and identify areas of improvement
  • Resolve minor data issues, and help facilitate resolutions of cross-team ones
  • Assist in communicating new features and bug fixes to internal teams
  • Research new technologies and tools to improve systems and workflow


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant QA technical experience
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Expertise in website, API, and database testing
  • Strong ability to create clear, concise detail-oriented test plans and cases
  • Experience in multiple types of testing, such as unit testing, user-acceptance testing, black box testing, end-to-end testing, and load testing
  • Working within a development team and working inside ticketing systems such as Jira Software
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SQL
  • Comfortable with C#, PowerShell, XML, HTML, and JavaScript
  • Ability to understand and create test plans from architecture documents and verbal communications
  • Excellent communication skills to work together with QA teams, development teams, and management
  • Strong customer-centric focus
  • Ability to work independently, across multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • ISTQB certification or equivalent
  • AWS certification
  • Familiar with Typescript and automated testing frameworks such as Cypress
  • Prior experience mentoring and training other QA analysts or engineers
