  • You will work in our proprietary 3D software to create one-of-a-kind CAD designs for digital manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Master and utilize MatrixGold software to adhere to Stuller Standards for customer 3D designs.
  • Manage and foster relationships with customers through effective communication and direct coordination with customers and team members.
  • Interpret customers' 2D hand sketches and ideation concepts into 3D models, ensuring accurate translation of client ideas into the digital environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the manufacturing team regarding product specifications and requirements.
  • Execute custom jobs from inception to completion independently, demonstrating advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Design and create photorealistic renders from CAD files, applying advanced knowledge of Z Brush for organic models, facial features, and textures.
  • Construct CAD models based on Stuller Bill of Materials (BOMs), ensuring intricate pieces are assembled accurately.
  • Engage with customers to discuss CAD projects and requirements.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience as a Jewelry CAD Designer, or similar role
  • Advanced proficiency in CAD software, such as MatrixGold or Rhino, with a strong ability to create complex 3D designs.
  • Ability to interpret 2D sketches and customer concepts into 3D models.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure designs meet quality and accuracy standards.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to generate unique and innovative design concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and communicate with customers.
  • Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify and solve design-related problems effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in jewelry design, CAD/CAM technology, or a related field
  • Advance knowledge in organic modeling tools, such Z-Brush
  • Prior experience working directly with customers to bring their ideas to life
  • Prior knowledge or experience as a bench jeweler
