Government Contracting
The Louisiana Procurement Technical Assistance Center was established to generate employment and improve the general economy of Louisiana by assisting business firms in marketing their goods and services to the government. Government contracting clients are entered into an electronic bid matching database by Acadiana procurement consultant. Entertainment Initiative

Louisiana Crossroads is a concert series, record label, and economic development project of the Acadiana Arts Council and LEDA as well as numerous public funders and corporate sponsors. The series' shows present a mix of music and conversation and bring together a wide range of artists for touring, radio broadcasts and recording sessions.

As the Director of the Louisiana Crossroads Initiative, Todd Mouton works with artists and businesses to create a Master Plan for Acadiana's cultural entertainment industry and produces the Louisiana Crossroads concert/performance series.

Regional Economic Development

The AEDC Board of Directors coordinates efforts to realize opportunities for retention and expansion in the Acadiana area. AEDC, led by Director Kristi Lumpkin, also uses cluster development of business and industry that is consistent with the State's strategic plan for economic development.
