Description:

• The position of Metal Smith will gain knowledge and perform operations of all jewelry processes and equipment associated with finishing and/or mass media finishing of precious metals jewelry.
• Hire to Fill Replacement Position
• Work Hours 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Learn to operate and maintain multiple pieces of automatic and manual equipment that pertain to the production of wedding bands. 
• Cross train in areas needed to fill seasonal demand. 
• Provide input on doing the job more efficiently and effectively. 
• Maintain accountability of WIP jobs. 
• Work in a safety conscious manner at all times. 
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment. 
• Maintain an organized work area. 
• Additional Cross training available to grow to the next level.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn/understand using measuring devices.
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand or sit for an entire shift. 
• Coachable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
