Position Description:

• CGI is seeking a PySpark AWS Developer to work with a highly skilled team on the newest technologies.

• This role can be performed in either Bloomfield, CT (Preferred), Austin, TX, Lafayette, LA, Chattanooga, TN or Raleigh, NC.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Work in an onshore-offshore model, with 4-5 offshore developers.
• Follow engineering best practices and take pride in it.
• Agile Ceremonies – Participate and Contribute
• Applications Development – Analysis, Design & Development
• Testing & Support
• QE Testing
• Volume Testing
• Implementation

Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Minimum at least 8+ years of experience in PySpark and Python Full Stack Engineering practice - Designing, developing, deploying & testing.
• Hands on experience with AWS Services – S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Glue, Step functions, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch alarms, VPC, and Terraform.
• Hands on experience with Oracle//Dynamo DB
• Knowledge of TDD with at least unit test automation.
• Experience with CICD tools – GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, Veracode/Checkmarx
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
