Description

  • The position of Web Designer is responsible for designing and implementing promotional web content in the form of HTML website content and email marketing through collaboration with the Marketing graphic design team and under the leadership of the Web Design Manager.


Responsibilities

  • Create and utilize digital assets developed through collaboration with graphic design team to produce all forms of promotional web and email content.
  • Participate in producing creative briefs for ecommerce campaigns
  • Perform day-to-day website content tasks including, but not limited to, build out of HTML promotional web content, geo-targeted/account-based web content, tagging of website elements for tracking purposes, and custom website form creation.
  • Assist in coming up with new enhancements to the website content management system through collaboration with the Development and E-commerce teams.
  • Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered and dynamic content-driven campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Marketing graphic designers and Web Design Manager to establish and maintain a consistent user experience across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with E-commerce team associates to establish and maintain an ongoing A/B testing program to maximize promotional web content and email effectiveness.
  • Keep up to date with the latest web design best practices and new web design methodologies and technologies.
  • Provide timely updates and estimates to the Web Design Manager


Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent design portfolio of work or school projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery languages
  • Ability to troubleshoot cross-browser display issues including mobile devices
  • Understanding of responsive web design methodologies
  • In-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Detail oriented and well organized
  • Outstanding time management skills and ability to handle deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills
